LIGHTHOUSE WALK.
DEVONPORT. Northern Tasmania
A favourite place for locals to walk, run or cycle near Devonport is the Don River bushland area and Devonport Bluff. Don and the surrounding areas also played a major role in Tasmania's early pioneering history. In recent times, walking tracks have since been established, starting from a car-park at the Don River Railway, around to Devonport's Bluff and CBD. Choose to follow the 3km circuit up one side of the river - through bushland - past the Aquatic Centre and back, or adventure further around to Devonport's Bluff recreation area.
