The Waterworks Reserve is quietly tucked above the Hobart CBD amongst bushland below Mount Wellington. An important reservoir for Hobart's fresh-water supply, this area has long since been a great location for walkers, runners and cycling. On the southern side is a series of BBQ shelters and parkland, with the northern-side, made up of natural bushland.
RESERVE CIRCUIT
2.6km CIRCUIT.

This is a great short circuit for walking or running. Start your route at the marker at the end of the park-land. On the northern side of the two reservoirs, you will follow a well-established bush track above the water, with glimpses out across to the other side. Once half-way, you will follow the main access road into the Waterworks Reserve back to your park. Toilets located a short walk from the start of your circuit.

The marked circuit is a mix of both sealed road/pathway and gravel bushland track, with minimal elevation section on the northern side of the reservoirs.
